You should clean and inspect your gutters at least every six months. Remove debris and run a hose through the system to identify leaks.
Clean and inspect your roof
Remove any leaves, branches or debris from your roof. Inspect for any loose or broken tiles or shingles.
Pressure wash
Remove mildew and grime by pressure washing exterior surfaces. Be sure to use a product that won’t harm your landscaping.
Seal and paint
Fill exterior cracks on masonry and stucco. Repair or replace caulking on window and doors. Remove flaking paint. Touch up paint and stain and seal decking.
Trim bushes and shrubs
Plants that are in contact with your home should be trimmed back. Allow 6 to 12 inches from the exterior surface to minimize mildew and pest issues.
Weed, fertilize and much
Spring is the perfect time to spruce up your garden beds. Remove weeds and debris. Use a slow release fertilizer around the base of plants and shrubs. Add much or rock as needed.
Service your AC system
Call your AC technician for a tune up. A well-tuned AC system will keep you cool all summer long and will keep your electric bill in check.
